The headline and tone of the story seems somewhat April Foolish.
“FBI identifies Middle Kingdom mummy head”
What the head went through before it reached FBI investigators:
Buried in a necropolis on the east bank of the Nile River.
Abused by looters who broke into the tomb.
Resided in tomb until archaeologists dynamited an entrance in 1915.
Ship carrying artefacts to Boston caught on fire.
In museum storage until 2009.
Tooth given to FBI in 2016.
Identified in 2018 as a man and fitted to remains known as the Great Overlord Djehutynakht.
(Would the identification stand up in court, after 4,000 years?)
