A news lead I’ve not seen
before.
“Police are no longer
looking for Ian Scott in connection with burglaries at pubs in Basildon after police
arresting and charged two men.”
Did Ian Scott know police were looking for him? Seems like shining the spotlight of perfidious publicity. Of course, Mr. Scott might be a frequent flyer in police circles. There is this Ian Scott:
'Armed robber jailed after 24 days of crime'
"Ian Scott, 44, carried out the robbery during a 24-day crime spree between November 25 and December 18, 2009, which involved knife-point robberies of stores and a woman being kidnapped and forced to withdraw money from a cashpoint, escalating to robberies and failed hold-ups of banks and building societies, including Barclays in Market Street."

Mr. Scott's mug shot indicates a struggle ensued when police took him into custody.
The stories are somewhat dated, but interesting nonetheless.
