The idea has been around since Sweden legislated the best health care system and work system and pay system the world has ever seen.

Or maybe not.

My wife and I were host to two Nordic girls -- one from Sweden, the other from Denmark. The Swedish girl said everything is free there, you don’t have to pay for anything. Many of her friends, after finishing college, do not work, and she plans on doing the same. In school, she said, "If the teachers really want you to learn somehing, they will wake you up." The Danish girl wants to be a lawyer. She was very upset at one time because her grade on a test at the E-STEM school in Little Rock knocked out her overall A average. She made up the grade within two weeks, though. In Denmark, people are expected to get an education and go to work. Not so in Sweden. Both countries had a Homogeneous population before the European Union, but that has changed.
