A year ago I gave a Smith and Wesson revolver to my wife on her birthday. Two days ago, she and I went to a gun range, where she fired the revolver for the first time.
Between gift and use, Priscilla had undergone a mastectomy and several months of recovery. Before she was fully recovered, she had kidney surgery, which necessitated another recovery period.
Priscilla did well at the range. She fired 15 rounds and hit the target 13 times. That means a substantial number of lead slugs went into disabling or fatal areas of the target, had the paper been a robber or other bad person who meant harm.
We will go to the range more often. Soon, Priscilla will place all shots in the center of the target.
