My wife and I were watching the new Law and Order show, Criminal Enterprise or something. The head guy, Stabler, at a homicide scene picked up an expended cartridge. “Self-loaded,” he announced. And then proclaimed, “Usually people who load their own ammunition are former military or gun fanatics.”
Well, there you are. We* know that right-wing anti-government insurrectionists are former military or gun fanatics. So, maybe we* could eliminate violence in the streets by those same right wingers if we* strongly regulated all things associated with ammunition reloading. Even better, maybe we* could have government-owned ammunition factories. That way, we* could control all ammunition sales.
My wife said, “Those shows should be moved to Dallas, where gun ownership is somewhat higher than in New York.”
