There were more rockets glaring red and bombs bursting bright in the neighborhood than at any other Independence Day tonight, with at least three groups of large pyrotechnics fired from the neighborhood.
This
was the sixth manifestations of liberty my wife and I have seen since we moved here in November
2014. The largest show is put on by a county deputy sheriff, and is set up
about 300 yards from our patio. The
deputy does a professional job.

ReplyDeleteFireworks are illegal in my state.
ReplyDeleteI live in the 2nd largest city in my state.
Many, many in my neighborhood were doing weapons grade Fireworks
I would not want to live in a place that did not allow fireworks. Forty-six states and the District of Columbia allow consumer fireworks in some form. Massachusetts bans all consumer fireworks. California has strict rules, not allowing some sparklers, roman candles, chasers and sky rockets. Sounds like anything that lights up the sky is banned.
ReplyDeleteWe get sparklers
