Kadyrov
threatens participants of LGBT action in Berlin mosque
The head of
Chechnya has criticized the action in support of LGBT people organized in the
Berlin mosque; Kadyrov has promised "hellish torments" to its
participants, and claimed that German Muslims were responsible for what
happened.
On July 3,
in his Telegram channel, Ramzan Kadyrov expressed his indignation at the action
in support of LGBT people, organized in the mosque located in the Moabit
District in central Berlin. "It is reported that the mosque located in central
Berlin has raised the LGBT flag," Kadyrov wrote. He has treated the action
as "dirty", and was outraged that the participants of the action came
with posters with the inscription "Love is Halal".
The action
was held in the Ibn Rushd Goethe Mosque in the Moabit District on July 1. It
became the first German mosque to fly the rainbow flag. The rally was attended
by Klaus Lederer, Berlin cultural senator, and one of the six Imams of the Mo
el-Ketab Mosque, who stated that Ibn Rushd Goethe should be a safe place for
different people and expressed hope that other mosques will follow this
example.
Kadyrov has
criticized the Imam of the mosque, who supported the action, as well as all the
Muslims of Germany. "I can't understand how Imams of this mosque can call
themselves Muslims after everything that happened. And how did the
parishioners, and indeed the entire Islamic part of the German population,
leave this action defaming our religion without a loud, resonant
reaction?!" Ramzan Kadyrov has written, pointing out that Muslims of
Germany "are primarily responsible for what happened in the mosque."
He promised "hellish torments" to the participants of the action.

“Love is halal.” No. Not in five million years. Actions of people who say that do not and will not consider: Your stance is about sex, not religion. Specifically, your stance has to do with men having sex with men and women having sex with women. Where is religion in that belief? You deny the very reason God made man and woman.
