“them,” “they” and “them.”
How in the world of Ben Johnson can “they” make “them” act as “they” choose “them” to act? “Them” and “they” are the same, grammatically speaking.
One of these days a book of English grammar the size of Manhattan will penetrate the atmosphere and land square upon the US of A, ending the linguistic barbarianism we have come to call “civilization.”
