You can't hide your flying eyes

A Tampa, Fla., TV station news reporter should stick to talking and not give too much time to her writing.

The reporter on Wednesday wrote on the station’s web page of a restaurant owner’s complaints that pier construction near his eatery kept customers away.

Also, the reporter wrote, the restaurant owner said the pier work was “an eye soar.”

With that kind of word knowledge, why did the reporter not take another step and write about the “peer?”
