Commanding officer’s report, USS Neosho

The USS Neosho was a fleet oiler based at Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941. Surviving that attack, the ship in the coming months served the fleet, until sunk on May 11, 1942, following the Battle of the Coral Sea. The commanding officer's report is a witness to standing to duty as well as instances of sailors abandoning stations.
