Things that may not be displayed at Cornell University:
Nativity scene; menorah; angels; mistletoe; stars at the tops of trees; crosses; stars of David.
While banning mistletoe, Cornell does allow representative snowflakes and trees “(in accordance with Fire Safety Guidelines)”) that are decorated with snowflakes and other non-religious symbols. Snowflakes and trees of non-religious decoration are “Consistent with Cornell’s Commitment to Diversity …”
Mistletoe is not a Christian or Jewish symbol, so why does Cornell ban it? The only logical reason is the university’s war against Paganism, Celtic religion and Nordic worship. This something up with which we must not put.
