California’s governor wants to: close two state prisons; cut 20 percent of the inmate firefighting camps; spend $240 million for Blackhawk firefighting helicopters; give cons more credit so they can get out of prison quicker; shorten parole time; and close all juvenile prisons. And gun laws will at least remain as strict as now, if not become more authoritarian.
