I said to my wife, “Scientists say they’ve found something earthshaking on Mars, but they won’t say what.”
She said, “Unless they’ve found a humanoid creature, it isn’t earthshaking. A one-cell something is not earthshaking.”
She’s right. With some things, there is a great difference of definition between scientists and us science fiction fans.
