First directive from the Community Association

“We are writing you in reference to the frogs in your flower bed and the windchimes in your tree.”

The frogs are small and concrete, the windchimes are small.

However: “Accessory structures sculptures, and decorative objects such as bird baths, English globes, and fountains are prohibited in the front yard.” -- Forest Creek Rules and Regulations.

All that was delivered in a letter, with shadowy photograph of the front of the house, said photograph showing neither the frogs nor windchimes.

My wife said, “Well, I’ll just move the frogs to a back flower bed and the whindchimes to a backyard tree.”

Problem solved.

And, yes, we know we agreed to follow rules and etc. when we moved in.
