Frost Texas Tornado Blues, by Texas Alexander, 1934.

The tornado was in 1930. Forty-one people from Frost died, 64 altogether in Central Texas.
Zip Code for Frost, Texas, is 76641, same as my present Solitaire score.
“Frost, Texas was founded by 5th generation Texan, Miles Frost in 1899 as a trading post for north central Texas farmers.
“The town was established in 1881 when the St. Louis Southwestern Railway was constructed through Frost on its way from Corsicana to Hillsboro. It was named after Samuel R. Frost, attorney for the railroad and prominent local politician.”

Miles or Sam? 1881 or 1899? Would farmers in 1899 have used a general store, or a “trading post?”
I have driven through the area more close to two dozen times, on I35 and on US 31, but I never heard of the town until searching Solitaire score.
