Rep.
AOC and other Democratic first-year Congresspersons do not understand that a
number of Tweet or Facebook or Instagram followers does not equate to any kind
of political power. AOC keeps on bad-mouthing Speaker of the House Nancy
Pelosi, and Rep. Pelosi musters minutes of lucidity and tries to put the NYC
Democrat in her place. So far, Rep. AOC is not listening.
As
reported today in Legal Insurrection, Rep. Pelosi said of AOC and others: “All these people have their public whatever and their
Twitter world.” The others include Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich.,
and Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass.
The younger women must not have been taught respect for their
elders. If they had, they would know a grandmother can rip a switch from a
willow and start lashing legs before the recipient has a chance to run.
Rep.
Pelosi might consider taking a switch to former VP Joe Biden, who says he has
information on all the other two dozen Democratic lemmings who want to be
president. But, says Sleepy, he will not make the information public knowledge.
Here
is an indisputable fact: The election of Donald Trump opened a door to the way
Americans talk about politicians. People in D.C. still believe we mere voters,
once off the farm, lost the ability to recognize BS. Not so.
