(Town of Beaver Dam) Dodge County Sheriff’s deputies helped a
Town of Beaver Dam man with an unwanted intruder. Authorities were dispatched
to a residence on Kellom Road Thursday evening around 10:30pm. According to the
sheriff’s briefing, the caller reported that he was sitting on his couch when
he was nearly bit by a woodchuck. The animal was not located but deputies
assisted the caller in fixing a hole in the floor.
The town of Beaver Dam is not
to be confused with the nearby city of Beaver Dam. The city had a census
population of 16,214 in 2010 and was the largest city in Dodge County
Wisconsin.
In 2000, the population of
Beaver Dam Town was 2,440. Of those, 96.1 were white. Hey, it is Wisconsin. Six
percent of the population lived below the poverty level.
