Biden, Inc.
Or, if your pockets are deep enough, there is a place for you at the influence table just inside the White House doors.
Ella Emhoff, VP Kamala Harris’ step-daughter, gets a high-dollar contract with IMG Models. IMG is owned by Silver Lake Properties. Silver Lake is heavily invested in Twitter. Twitter is a company Republicans want investigated for anti-trust violations. IMG is also invested in Solar Winds, an IT company whose clients were hacked in an attack that went unreported for months. Included in the hacks were the Department of Homeland Security and the Treasury Department.
Gunfreezone believes “The controversy over the ugly chick with hairy armpits who looks like she exists on a diet of lattes and fentanyl is a distraction from the fact that a tech monopoly and a hacked IT security firm just bought themselves protection from the DOJ on the cheap.”

Says the model: “There are a lot of people out there that need a lot of help. If I can do anything to help with that, I want to, and I think this opportunity will be really beneficial toward that.”

4-year-old girl finds dinosaur footprint in Wales
From Sputnik News.
A four-year-old girl discovered a dinosaur
footprint on a South Wales beach on Friday, described as the
"best-preserved" in the UK, the National Museum Wales has announced.
Lily Wilder and her dad Richard were walking their dog
along Bendricks Beach in Barry when she saw the footprint embedded in a
rock.
They took photos of the find and returned to the site with
Lily's mum, Sally, and her baby brother George.
Mrs Wilder said her husband "thought it was too good
to be true" and added that she was "put in touch with experts who
took it from there."
Scientists said the print is around 220-million-years old and could help experts find out how dinosaurs walked.
When Trump moved Bureau of Land Management HQ to Colorado…
…87% in the DC office quit.
Yea! Hooray! Huzza!
From The Washington
Post:
“The reorganization
plan reestablished the bureau’s headquarters in Grand Junction, Colo., moved
328 positions out of Interior’s main D.C. office and left 60 jobs in place.
“A
total of 287 BLM employees either retired or found other jobs, according to
Interior communications director Melissa Schwartz, while 41 people moved to the
new office in Colorado. “
Then the Post
complains: “But several experts, including former high-ranking Interior
officials, said the shake-up has deprived the agency of needed expertise and
disrupted its operations.”
Of course “several
experts” and “former officials” complained. They are part of the swamp. They
made careers from advising bureaucrats and dictating to landowners. The Post
and other MSM organizations would never look for anyone who agreed with Trump’s
decision.
Says Daniel
Greenfield in Front Page Mag:
"D.C.
expertise on events in the west is worse than worthless. I'm going to bet
that BLM can find qualified people in Colorado who actually know something
except how to look for the next step on their career ladder in D.C. while
leaking to the media."

Another case of ‘Take them right to the po-leece station’
Because their names guarantee they are going to break a bunch of laws.
Racial profiling? Nope. Their mothers and neighbors took that out of the equation by raising them the way they did.
From The Other McCain.
“Cortavion Tyriques Shemerlee Murphy was
15 years old and behind the wheel of a stolen Dodge Charger traveling about 115
mph when he crashed into a tree, killing himself and four passengers, all
minors.
The crash that
killed Murphy and his passengers — two 15-year-old boys, Jaquarius Hegler and
Marshawn Williams, and two girls, Elexus Hillsman, 16,and Deztanee Cobb, 17 —
happened around 12:45 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017. Shortly before the
crash, the Dodge Charger had blown past a police car in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
The cop had at first tried to pursue the Dodge, but gave up, telling the
dispatcher: ‘Yeah, I’m going to have to terminate it. It’s well over 100 mph.’
The officer continued traveling east on Main Street at normal speed and, about
a mile later, came across the site of the flaming wreckage.”
Facts
not in the original 2017 account:
“Cortavion’s mother’s boyfriend was doing repairs on this car
that was stolen in Detroit, and which had been brought to him by a known drug
dealer. The mother’s boyfriend denied knowing the car was stolen, and also
denied giving the teenager permission to drive the car, although the keys were
conveniently left in it.” The boyfriend also put tags from another car
on the Charger.

Department of things that pop into my head
Standing in the foyer of the Community Center on a Naples, Texas, Watermelon Festival Saturday night, Country & Western band playing inside, I saw a man and a woman holding onto each other walk through the double doors from the dance floor just as a man by himself walked in from outside. The woman got a sudden “Oh, sh(oo)t!” look on her face. The man who walked in pointed at the woman and said to the woman’s companion, “Is that your wife?” That man let go of the woman and put his hands in the air and said, “She’s not my wife!” I decided outside needed me right then. Don’t know how the scene played out.
The Wisconsin alligator(s)
From Manitowoc County Historical Society
‘Alligator Still Seen in Area’
When
one thinks of an alligator, you probably picture the Everglades in Florida or
an alligator encaged at a zoo. You probably wouldn’t think of coming across an
alligator in the wild in Wisconsin. In 1966 however, residents of Clarks Mills
were convinced an alligator was among them and just a year later that fear
would resurface with reports of another in Door County.
It all
started one day when a young boy came running through the streets of Clarks
Mills claiming an alligator was “trying to eat his little sister”. The little
girl was unharmed by the gator other than be terrified by it. Once away from
the gator she reported to her mother that the animal had its tail straight up
in the air and its jaws wide open as if it was ready to eat her.
The
announcement by the young boy led to searches around the area for the
alligator. An alligator hunt was organized which drew farmers with their
shotguns and rifles. The search even brought experienced alligator hunters to
the area. The search for the animal went on for weeks but only traces of an
alligator were found. The actual alligator was never found.
Two
weeks before the incident with the young boy and his sister, local fishermen
fishing in Lower Cato Falls said they saw either a large catfish or an
alligator in the river. Due to the proximity of the two sightings it is quite
possible the alligator could have wandered from one place to another. In the
weeks and months following the sighting in Clarks Mills, sightings would be
reported around the area.
The
story made headlines across the state from Appleton to Rhinelander to Waukesha.
Not only did the story make statewide headlines but it also attracted national
headlines, since alligators are supposed to be in Wisconsin. Postcards began
coming in from around the country to a local reporter who had been writing on
the events occurring about the alligator. The senders of the postcards became
very creative. One said, “Am spending the winter here but will see you again
next spring”. The sender of that postcard was from Miami, Florida and signed it
“Guess Who”. They even put a little green alligator in the corner.
The
story was brought to life again in July 1967 when an alligator was photographed
on a beach in Door County by a conservation officer. The gator was eventually
captured. Residents of Clarks Mills began to worry again after this sighting
and capture in Door County that the alligator which had terrified the young boy
might still be around.
So,
where did the alligator from Clarks Mills come from? According to an article in
the Appleton Post Crescent from August 1966 three small alligators who were
being raised as pets disappeared from their owner’s backyard a few months back.
It was speculated that the one which terrified the young children may have been
one of them.

You stupid bitch
First Lady Jill Biden handed out cookies to about 30 National Guard soldiers as a way of appeasing the soldiers mistreated and politicized by the Democratic Party. With video of "We're sorry" speech.
Democratic Sen. Chris Murphy
of Connecticut said Guard soldiers might be needed in DC “for the foreseeable
future.” Other stories have said 5,000 soldiers will remain in the capital
until at least mid-March.
Here's a guess: Democratic leaders planned on having soldiers in the capital until mid-March to show what need be done in order to keep white supremacist Republican insurrectionists at bay. The monumental screw-ups, though, will lead to FBI and ATF findings of a danger lessened because of decisions and moves by the Biden Administration.

The backlash is coming
From Moose in the Yard
At least 74 million Americans voted for Trump. They are not ‘loons’, despite what Bill Maher or Katie Couric thinks. Neither are they ‘brainwashed.’ Nor do they have a ‘cult-like adoration’ for Trump. Of course, every movement has its fringe, but the millions who comprise the Make America Great Again movement are, in no way, a passing parade of wackos.
You may believe they are going away.
You may be convinced that CNN and ABC are right when they talk about ‘deprogramming
and cleansing Trump supporters.’ If you want to follow the leftist Hollywood
stars who today vilified Trump voters, go ahead, but you can never say you were
not warned.
74 million people is an enormous group to insult and threaten. To
question their sanity is, in itself, insanity. Labeling them as extremists only
shows your extreme ignorance.
Above all, consider this: there will
be a backlash, and I will explain why, in a moment. What you must understand is
that the very first victims of this backlash will be Joe Biden and Kamala
Harris. For obvious reasons, I should not even be letting this out of the
bag…but railing against Trump supporters will make it impossible for Biden to
succeed.
Joe: you will be hampered every step of the way if you keep
attacking Trump people.
At first there will be a lull. Trump will go golfing and folks will hang up their MAGA hats. For the moment, corporations and banks will give in to woke threats and ban products and try to cancel folks like Mike Lindell, the My Pillow man, for supporting Trump. And, at first, that will work. But then, look out.
Remember
when the LGBTQ people tried to put Chick-fil-A out of business, and soon the
opposite happened, as folks lined up for hours to buy their food? The same will
happen to Bed Bath and Beyond and Kohl’s—but in reverse, for banning My Pillow
products. And, it will happen to any corporation that tries to cancel Trump
voters.
Here’s
why:
By attacking them, Democrats are in reality galvanizing an
intelligent group of people to act as a single unit. These are not hayseed,
backwater buffoons. These are educated business owners. These are middleclass
families with deeply held beliefs. They are black and brown people who were
faithful Democrats, but who saw the light and left the plantation.
All
these people have one thing in common: they came by their convictions slowly
and deliberately. That means you will only motivate them when you insult them
for being racists, cultists and Nazis. Because they, more than anyone else,
know how big a lie those insults are.
74 million people is a lot of influence and buying power. 74
million people who believe something fishy happened on November 3rd represent a lot of investigative power. Somewhere,
someone who knows something is going to crack, and then, it is game-on.
74 million people who
will not let an issue go is a Congressman’s worst nightmare. They can run, but
they cannot hide. And if they want to be reelected, they had better listen.
74
million people remember who closed all those small businesses, and why.
Go ahead and enjoy the lull. Repeat this mantra over and over to
yourself, until you believe it: “It was a fair and free election, and everyone
believes it.” Everyone, that is, except the 100 million Americans whom the
polls show don’t believe
it.
Go
ahead and keep lying about millions of citizens who are not brainwashed, stupid
or fickle.
Go
ahead and underestimate us. That will be remarkably interesting…

Texas will benefit from Biden census decision
Counting illegals will give Texas up to three more House seats.
From Legal Insurrection
“Texas was one
of the many states whose legislatures Democrats expected to gain in the 2020 election. Their anticipated ‘blue wave; didn’t happen;
instead, Republicans made significant gains at the state level, granting them a significant advantage in redistricting.
“Texas has almost 2
million such residents out of nearly 30 million — enough extra people to bring
billions in federal largesse over the next decade, and add considerably to its
clout in the U.S. House.
“’Don’t
get me wrong, I support President Trump and I appreciate what he was trying to do,
but this is good for Texas,’ said state Rep. Phil King, a Weatherford
Republican who chaired the redistricting committee the last two years. ‘It
probably means the difference between getting one and three new congressional
seats.’”
Where is the fact checking?
"As if it's not enough that he sent an angry mob down the mall to invade the Capitol, didn't try to stop it and a police officer was killed. I don't really know what else you need to know," she explained. "The facts were there, we saw it right there on the platform during the inauguration as you can still see the spray paint at the bottom of many of the columns." – Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar on precedent for impeaching a former president.
President Trump “sent an angry mob down the mall to invade the Capitol…” The president directed the angry mob. The president told the angry mob, “Go to the Capitol. Invade the building. Drive out those people who stole the election from you.”
Proof, Senator. Proof. Oh. That’s just another Democrat lie? The Democrats lied about President Trump? Should not those people be punished for lying? “Do not tell a lie,” parents tell children. Become a Democrat, disobey that rule and maybe you can get a high elected job.
I am consistently amazed at
Democrats who believe I am as stupid as they are, that they are convinced I
will believe lies as easily as they do.
Oldest (so far) cave art animal found in Indonesia
Painting of pig estimated at 45,000 years old.
From The History Blog.
The image of a wild pig on a cave wall in Sulawesi,
Indonesia, has been dated to 45,500 years ago, making it the oldest known
cave art animal in the world. The life-sized Sulawesi warty pig (Sus
celebensis) was painted in dark red ochre on the limestone wall of Leang
Tedongnge cave. It was outlined in profile and filled in with lines and dashes.
There are two hand stencils over its hindquarters.
The pig was able
to be dated thanks to a coralloid speleothem, a tiny calcite deposit known as
cave popcorn, on one of its hind legs. Researchers chiseled the calcite from
the wall and conducted uranium-series isotope analysis on extracted
samples. The results found the pig was at least 45,500 years old, and very
likely older given the time it must have taken for the speleothem to form.

Mass. Dem. accused of having Guard soldiers expelled from Capitol
Breitbart had the story first, major news organizations have nothing I can find.
From Election Wiz.
“National
Guard troops protecting the Capitol were forced to sleep in a freezing parking
garage because of complaints by Democrat Rep. Bill Keating (MA), according to Breitbart.
“Rep.
Keating told Capitol building authorities earlier in the day that a National
Guardsman was seen in a Dunkin’ Donuts without a mask on.
“After
Keating said he commented out loud that masks were required to be worn at all
times in a federal building, and a National Guard member responded, ‘I
appreciate my freedom,’ according to a source.”
https://electionwiz.com/2021/01/22/madison-cawthorn-delivers-pizza-to-abandoned-troops/
Link at neveryetmelted.com.
Keating said his complaint was not the cause for Guard soldiers being expelled from the Capitol, but on January 15, he had this to say about the January 6 break-in of the Capitol: "That was the mission, as chilling as it is, to kill members of Congress."
I'm not likely to believe anything Rep. Keating says. He has been nothing but a politician since 1977, when at age 25 he was elected to the Massachusetts Legislature.

Defense secretary nominee to military: I’m coming after you
From Breitbart.
“Lloyd Austin, President-elect Joe Biden’s nominee for defense secretary, said Tuesday during his confirmation hearing that he would work to rid the military of ‘racists and extremists.’
“We also owe our people a working environment free of discrimination, hate and harassment. If confirmed, I will fight hard to stamp out sexual assault, to rid our ranks of racists and extremists, and to create a climate where everyone fit and willing has the opportunity to serve this country with dignity. The job of the Department of Defense is to keep America safe from our enemies. But we can’t do that if some of those enemies lie within our own ranks.”
He is going right along with Democrats. The military has since the end of World War II been seen by Democrats as an impediment to even more social change than liberals slapped onto the citizenry. The military services eat up far too much money that would be better used in cities, in schools, in organizing movements for more change. Think how much more socialist teachers from Head Start through universities could be paid if we did not have the war mongers taking half the federal budget every year.
A liberal friend once said, “Fifty cents of every tax dollar goes straight to the Pentagon.” I countered his statement with facts, but it was of no use. His mind was set. Social Security, Medicare and DOD together get 33% of the federal budget.

Sucker punch on Day 1
A Twitter read for a time today: “This is the official Twitter account of the U.S. Ambassador to Israel, the West Bank and Gaza.”
A lot of people said, “Do what?” so the State Department removed the somewhat inaccurate, dishonest part and said, “We don’t know why it happened. It must have been a glitch of some kind.”
Riiight. Wasn’t one of President Biden’s new kids throwing the administration’s secret playbook out in the open too early.
Link at weaselzippers.
Twitter locked the account of
Michelle Malkin.
This used to be said of the M16 and 5.56mm ammunition
When 26,000 Soviet soldiers invaded Azerbaijan on Jan. 19, 1990, their AK-74 rifles “used the infamous 5.45 mm caliber bullets with the shifted center of gravity, which upon entering a body – unlike conventional bullets – travel in sporadic movements spiraling through the organs causing excessive pain and internal bleeding, thus increasing chances of death.”
There were two claims about the M16. One was the 5.56mm bullet tumbled through the air, sometimes the long side striking a human target, thereby causing much larger penetration. The other claim was that the speed of the 5.56mm bullet caused easy deflection and if the pointy slug struck a bone, the bullet could go in another direction, tearing through flesh and organs.
If a bullet tumbles, accuracy is lost, and a shooter would be lucky to hit anything. A "shifted center of gravity" also would cause lack of accuracy. The high velocity deflection is also not true.
Oops, there it was
President Biden’s speech was far from inspiring. A reader of Fox News said the speech “will be talked about years from now.” Did he hear the same speech I heard?
I remember President Kennedy’s inaugural speech. “Bear any burden, pay any price.” “Let the word go forth, the torch has been passed to a new generation.” Those more than “Ask not what your country can do for you…” I was 15 and malleable. Four years later I was in 1st Cavalry Division in Korea. Five years later I was in the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment at Fort Meade, Md., training for Vietnam. Six years later I had been in Vietnam for seven weeks.
Biden is not likely to call
for sacrifices of time and blood. That sort of thing is frowned upon in
Democratic Party circles.
Thoughts on politics, society and dumb
From Coyote Blog
The author believes “the COVID response in this country (and in others) is exaggerated and counter-productive.” I agree, and as each day passes with the same news, others are joining the “Wait just a minute” movement. The author also believes responses to COVID are driven by fear, ignorance, money and expectations. I agree.
Incentives in decisions. Political incentives to “do something” about the issue of the moment; politicians always legislate to first-order metrics, never second-order metrics; political incentives to expand power; political incentives not to admit error; if it bleeds, it leads and references to personal circumstances when making national trade-offs.
One of the primary mistakes made by politicians, media and world residents in general is the assumption that “Humans have conquered nature.”

Happy birthday, General
Today is Robert E, Lee's birthday. (Fix to remove incorrect date of Biden inauguration. Today is still Lee's birthday.)
Today, history is made
(Again, yesterday was not inauguration day. Today is. Unless the FBI has determined all soldiers are unpatriotic.)
Joseph R. Biden, Jr., the most popular presidential candidate ever, gets sworn in today as the 46th president of the United States of America.
Biden is so popular, he got more votes than Barrack Obama did in 2008 or 2012.
The most popular ever.
Democrats say (hope) "insurrectionists" will try to disrupt Biden’s swearing in. So much so that 20,000 (or 21,000, 30,000, 35,000) National Guard soldiers have been mobilized (federalized) to protect the future president.
Except – Guard troops cannot be trusted to carry out their assigned mission. Three-quarters of America’s National Guard soldiers voted for President Trump. That fact put such a twist in Democratic knickers that the Pentagon got all pussified and “What do we do now?” Not to worry. The FBI stepped in and backgrounded the Guard soldiers in DC.
That has to be real good for morale. “We are from the FBI and we are here to question your patriotism and determine whether you intend to do harm to President-Elect Biden during his inauguration.”
Democrats are looking for some kind of violence from right-wing groups. Right-wing groups are looking for more signs of an un-Constitutional government … doing something bad.
Stay tuned for further developments.

Out there contains ‘hundreds of billions’ of galaxies, not 2 trillion, NASA says
New numbers, Fox News writer Chris Ciaccia concludes, opens up “the possibility humanity is alone in the universe.” Look, in the realm of space numbers 2 trillion or hundreds of billions adds nothing and subtracts nothing from the “possibility” we are alone. Or not alone. More than likely, we will never know.
"It's an important number to know — how many galaxies are there?" the study's lead author, Marc Postman, said in a statement. "We simply don't see the light from 2 trillion galaxies."

Remember when you were a mentally ill kindergarten student?
"Every child in America entering school at the age of five is mentally ill because he comes to school with certain allegiances to our Founding Fathers, toward our elected officials, toward his parents, toward a belief in a supernatural being, and toward the sovereignty of this nation as a separate entity. It's up to you as teachers to make all these sick children well - by creating the international child of the future."

Hungarian PM's son graduates Sandhurst course, liberal knickers very wadded
From Hungary Today
Together with two other Hungarian
officers, Gáspár Orbán, the son of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, has
completed a nine-month course at the British Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst
on a Hungarian state scholarship, news outlet Telex reports. The course can
cost up to £93,000, more than €100,000 (HUF 37,8 million) per cadet.
Gáspár Orbán commenced his studies at the British elite military
Academy barely two months after being sworn in as a member of the Hungarian
Armed Forces. He was one of only three Hungarian soldiers to get a chance that
year to complete the 9-month course with a scholarship from the Ministry of
Defense, and he graduated on December 11, 2020. (Due to the epidemic, all
students of the institution had to interrupt their studies, which is why he
only graduated in December).
Gáspár Orbán, 28, began his military career in 2019, when he
participated in a six-week basic training at the combat crew training group of
the “vitéz Bertalan Árpád” 2nd Special Forces Brigade of the Hungarian Defense
Force. He began his military career that June, becoming a professional soldier.

‘Pre-Hispanic statue of elite woman found in citrus grove’
From The History Blog
On New Year’s Day, 2021, a farmer in the village of Hidalgo Amajac, in southeastern Mexico’s Veracruz region, unearthed a six-foot statue of a female figure in a citrus grove. On Monday, January 4th, archaeologists from the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) identified it as a pre-Hispanic statue of an elite woman, the first of its kind ever discovered in the area.
The
limestone statue depicts young woman, elegantly garbed in a long-sleeved shirt
and ankle-length skirt and adorned with an elaborate headdress rising high on
both sides of her head. Her small face has hollow eyes that would originally
have contained stone inlays. She wears a wide necklace with an engraved
donut-shaped pendant known as an oyohualli, a fertility symbol.
It
is two feet wide at its widest point and about 10 inches thick. It has survived
the centuries in good condition, its features still sharp and complete with its
spike, a long tapered structural element extending out from under the feet of
the figure that was used to keep the statue upright. Most of the female Huastec
sculptures have been interpreted representations of the earth and fertility
goddess Tlazoltéotl, but INAH archaeologist María Eugenia Maldonado Vite this
figure’s posture and attire suggests that she may have been a ruler rather than
a deity.

Kerry establishing Obama 2
The head of the United Nations climate office sees a President Biden re-energizing the Paris climate agreement. John Kerry, Biden’s designated climate ambassador is ready to do his part.
“The hopes at the
U.N. are high after Joe Biden recently tapped former Secretary of State,
John Kerry, to head the White House climate change office.
“’John
Kerry is looking to resume climate diplomacy that was disrupted under President
Trump,’ the public broadcaster NPR remarked.
“Kerry, who
engineered the 2015 nuclear deal, which handed out billions of dollars to
the terror-sponsoring Iranian regime, now plans to revive the old climate
policies by bringing in a host of Obama staffers (to the) Biden-Harris White House.
“’The
contours of John Kerry’s White House climate change office are beginning to emerge,

alumni,’ Politico confirmed Tuesday.
Biden “has promised to hold a global climate summit within his ‘first 100 days in office’ to align the U.S. policy to the ones being pursued by the European Union, Canada, and others.”

So, Biden will bring about Unity by aligning US climate policy with the EU, Canada "and others." Whatever theirs is, ours will be also.
I know! Let's be like Europe!
Our president
“Spreading peace through the Middle East. Addressing progressive pricing in medical and pharmaceutical industries. Standing up to diversity and exclusion. Working with urban stake holders. Pursuing revitalization, rehabilitation, and reconciliation. Emigration reform to mitigate [catastrophic] [anthropogenic] immigration reform (e.g. “refugee crises”, illegal immigration). Renegotiating trade terms to diffuse incentives for environmental, labor, and regulatory arbitrage. Standing up to the CCP’s aggressive expansion, and calling out their human rights violations. Meanwhile, the CCP, presumably in consultation with Western intellectuals, have adopted policies and language that have evolved from the Great Leap to one-child to selective-child (i.e. planned parenthood), and, unsurprisingly, concentration camps for their deplorables. In retrospect, selective-girl policy was poorly conceived, or forward-looking with excess males migrating to resourceful destinations. The most credible criticism is that there is work undone, and he hasn’t gone far enough. That said, all-American: Pro-Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.” – A comment at Legal Insurrection.
My remarks: Having
established a pro-American administration and accomplished many of the things
we wanted, he was found to be an enemy of the Democratic Party, China and the
European Union. All who voted for impeachment must look into a mirror and
remember: I voted to rid the country of the most successful president since
Ronald Reagan.
AOC feared white supremacists in Congress would tell where she was
That’s what she said. Honest.
“Some
members of Congress huddled in ‘a secure extraction point,’ but Ocasio-Cortez
said she didn’t feel safe joining because ‘QAnon and white supremacist
sympathizers, and frankly white supremacist members of Congress in that
extraction point, who I know, and who I had felt would disclose my location…
who would create opportunities to allow me to be hurt, kidnapped.’
“’I didn’t even feel safe around other members of
Congress, and to be kind of fending for yourself in that way is traumatizing,’
she said.”

There are stupid Democrats, like Georgia’s Hank Johnson,
who said he feared too many Marines transferred from Okinawa would cause Guam
to “tip over,” and then really, really stupid Democrats, like AOC, who when
first elected did not know the three branches of the federal government and who
expressed surprise that she would not immediately draw a congressional salary.
Now, she has gone beyond usual stupid Democratic
congresspersons.

When was Oklahoma divided into one state and three 'nations'?
Go here for a map of what claims to be Oklahoma:
https://www.google.com/maps/@35.2259651,-103.2082307,6z
You might be surprised to see the borders of the former State of Oklahoma now contains Choctaw Nation, Chickasaw Nation, Cherokee Nation and then the remainder of the area labeled Oklahoma.
There was a time when all of eastern Oklahoma consisted of five nations, each one of the Five Civilized Tribes -- Choctaw, Chickasaw, Cherokee, Muskogee Creek and Seminole. The Five Civilized Tribes earned the enmity of the Federal Government by siding with and fighting alongside the Confederate States of America.
The US government got payback in the 1890s by parceling out the Nations, giving each tribe member a certain number of acres and then throwing open the rest for white settlement. In 1907, Oklahoma became a state, number 47. All former Nations members were to become prosperous farmers, as decided by the US government.
Still, I do not remember a secession vote in Oklahoma to form the present-day three nations.
Could the three nations apply for United Nations membership?
Something to remember
The incoming Democratic/Progressive government will make changes most Americans do not want. The Democrats want to revolutionize America.
Revolutions always eat their children.

‘I think you have no right…to demand any concession of territory from America’
In 1814, British Prime Minister Robert Jenkinson asked the Duke of Wellington to take command in Canada and win the two-year-old war against America. The duke said he would go to America, but also stated:
“I think you have no right, from the state of war, to demand any concession of territory from America... You have not been able to carry it into the enemy's territory, notwithstanding your military success, and now undoubted military superiority, and have not even cleared your own territory on the point of attack. You cannot on any principle of equality in negotiation claim a cession of territory except in exchange for other advantages which you have in your power... Then if this reasoning be true, why stipulate for the uti possidetis? You can get no territory: indeed, the state of your military operations, however creditable, does not entitle you to demand any.”

How would the victor of wars
in India and battles against French armies in Portugal and Spain fared against
the often disorganized American armies? Would Wellington and General Andrew
Jackson faced each other in the Battle of New Orleans? And, with the victor of the not-yet-fought battle of Waterloo gone to America, who would have led the allied forces against
Napoleon? For American history and British, it is good that the prime minister
did not insist Wellington take command against the United States.

Florida efficiency
Last week, my wife and I did two take-away suppers, and we did one tonight.
Chili's. My wife ordered chicken fajitas. Seven minutes to Chili's, seven minutes to home. The Chili's people left out the tortillas. Fajitas are not fajitas without tortillas.
Cracker Barrel. Phone-in order. I ordered gravy and biscuits. My wife drove 15 minutes to Cracker Barrel. She picked up our order. In the car, she checked the order. No gravy. She went back inside and then had to wait more than 5 minutes for the gracy.
Sonic (tonight). My wife drove to Sonic. She and our oldest son ordered cheeseburger, no mayonnaise. The order screen plainly said "no mayonnaise." She drove home. Both orders had mayonnaise.
Our son said, "And those people want $15 an hour."

2 snowballs thrown in Britain, police say
From Summit News
There have been 2 reports of snowballs being thrown last night between 11 & 11:30pm. This is obviously not a justifiable reason to be out of your house, this behaviour is likely to result in a £200 Fixed Penalty Notice for breaking the lockdown rules. pic.twitter.com/3ElnMKhhAM
