Something I read today pinged my “Hang on a minute” meter. A respondent on a gun blog said he chose not to get the COVID vaccine. That’s fine. His choice. But then he said, “I simply do not trust a rushed vaccine that is not properly FDA approved and in some cases do (sic) not work.” I have met many of the blog readers and respondents. Twenty-something of us in two shooting sessions put a lot of lead down range at a nearby gun range. These are “stay out of my life” people. And, people who have in the past objected to FDA rules, regulations and testing, and the time it takes to get a new drug in circulation, on the market. So to now object to “a rushed vaccine…not properly FDA approved” seems counter-intuitive. His opinion, my opinion, equal weight.
