In a recent election in a Northeast Texas town, 262 residents voted for sale of beer and wine for takeout, while 46 voters said no. The sale of mixed drinks in restaurants passed 266-42.
In the same election, 52 people voted for a position on the city council, and four of those votes were write-in.
The town's motto: Whatever.
