Shocking photos!

So says the New York Post.

“Shocking photos show heavily armed members of Mexico’s National Guard patrolling among half-naked sunbathers in tourist hot spot Cancun in a show of force against warring cartels.”

Tourists must believe there are two places called “Mexico.” In one Mexico, shootouts occur daily in every city, as drug cartels fight each other for dominance, or cartel gunmen battle police and the national army. The other Mexico is a place of sunshine, white beaches, blue-green water, beach umbrellas, huge hotels, and etc.

Never, never would the first Mexico intrude into the second.

But, it was only a matter of time.
