Blonde in a dark-haired world

Allah graced his people with dark hair. Unbelievers and harlots have hair that is not dark.

In the mid-1970s I knew a blonde-haired woman, mid-20s, whose father was an MD. In the late 1960s, the doctor received a Fulbright scholarship to bring medical care to poor people in Kabul, Afghanistan. The doctor took his wife and two daughters with him to Afghanistan. The daughters were in Kabul for about two weeks before being sent home. Afghans threatened to stone the girls. Blonde hair and blue eyes were an affront to Allah. And the girls were girls.

You can’t pull a people out of the 7th century.
