Until taken into the sunlight of public knowledge, an Illinois chapter of an education group had scheduled a gay porn performer as a featured speaker for its annual pre-K and kindergarten conference.

Yep. A queer pornography performer was to speak to tell teachers “what real and effective self-care items look like, how we can better advocate for ourselves and our colleagues both in and out of the classroom, and ways we can help normalize and humanize teachers.” So says the ASCD website. I would not care to guess what those “self-care items” are.

Real News Michiana publicized the proposed appearance by the queer pornographer, and the Illinois education group decided transparency was a thing not to be utilized. The queer pornographer’s appearance has been cancelled.

While verifying the story, I came across this during a Google search: “List of LGBT firsts by year – Wikipedia. This list of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) firsts by year denotes pioneering LGBT endeavors organized chronologically.”

I did not read the referenced article. I will not read any such articles. I do not need to know about queer, lesbian and other sodomite events considered “historical.”
