DeSantis Democratic opponent spouting same old stuff

Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried ran last election promising to get rid of Florida concealed weapon law. Her latest after Gov. Ron DeSantis announced open carry is coming to Florida:

“We should be passing laws to prevent gun violence and working to fix our state’s affordable housing crisis, not creating chaos to score political points.”

Everybody with sense knows what “passing laws to prevent gun violence” means. “We are coming after legally owned guns.” If only criminals have guns … Well, I’m not sure what Democrats believe about that.
