My daughter called this morning and said her neighbor found two starving puppies in the yard. The neighbor does not have dogs; my daughter has three. K fed the puppies, five cups each they ate.
My daughter
told my wife all of that, and now all three women are at my daughter’s house,
determining which dog rescue/adoption place to contact.
Meanwhile, a
neighbor couple of ours is finishing plans on moving to an assisted living
place, following a couple of strokes and a few falls. The neighbors need to
sell most of their home things, but our HOA does not allow estate sales,
letting in non-residents and all that. So the selling is sort of word-of-mouth
advertising. They have asked my wife to assist with the selling and moving and
such. She agreed, of course.
First World problems.
When the after life arrives those of us who are sent southward will see just how close a resemblance to an HOA Hell is.
