Higher education must discriminate against Asian-American applicants in order to have “more diverse” and “inclusive” student numbers.
“A group of highly competitive schools
including most of the Ivy League claimed, ‘No race-neutral alternative
presently can fully replace race-conscious individualized and holistic review
to obtain the diverse student body.’”

Admitting
racial bias is not, of course, an ugly truth to those who practice
discrimination, but a way of doing business. Asian-Americans do not have the
political clout, history of big-dollar donations nor a penchant for taking it
to the streets in violent confrontation if they do not get their way. Colleges
and universities run on federal and state dollars, and those dollars are
determined not by successful graduates, but by the browning of the student
body.
