American culture
The TV is on in the living room, and from the recognizable theme music and character voices, it seems we have bequeathed to our grandchildren such culture as The Jetsons and Scooby Doo. Accompanying music is more modern, with plaintive singing indicating collective responsibility for all things wrong, and everybody needs a special friend. Not long ago I saw an ad for Bananarama. Still not dead, after all these years.
