10 TV shows that should have run forever. With comments, of course.

1. Firefly. The best TV science fiction show ever. E-V-E-R. Each character played by the right actor. I have watched each episode at least five times, and will watch again. Correction: Not just the best TV science fiction show ever, the best TV show ever.

2. Twin Peaks. My wife and I watched what was billed as the only season. All questions would be answered. “But wait! The show has good ratings! Let’s make another season!” We did not watch another episode.

3. Jericho. Watched one or two episodes. Hoped it would be good. Could not get into it.

4. Carnivale. My wife said this was one of the five best TV shows she ever saw.

5. My So-Called Life. Never saw an episode.

6. Undeclared. Never heard of it until reading the list.

7. Studio 6o on the Sunset Strip. Ditto.

8. Pushing Daisies. Watched a few episodes. Good cast, OK episodes. Just didn’t grab my mind.

9. Veronica Mars. Heard a lot about the show, never watched.

10. Heroes. I lost track of the characters.
