Goose is right

I'd like to knock some of these f---ers on their ass and see how they would do against pitchers in the old days."

The first thing a pitcher does when he comes off the mound is ask, 'How many pitches do I have?' If I had asked that f---ing question, they would have said, 'Son, get your ass out there on that mound. If you get tired, we'll come and get you.'"

(Bautista's bat flip in last year's playoff game against Texas ... He would not have done that against Bob Gibson or Don Drysdale or any old school pitcher, because his next time at bat, even if it had been the next season, those guys would have drilled him. They would not have simply pitched him inside, Bautista would have had a fastball in his ribs.

(Gossage didn’t mention the clocks introduced into baseball this year – a specific time a batter may stand outside the batter’s box, and limiting visits to the mound to 30 seconds. Ridiculous.

(It is not baseball, but simply another TV program run by advertising.)
