'The flag is coming back'

I have mentioned my brother-in-law John a few times. John is 59 physical years old, and 5 or 6 mental years.

Yesterday (Saturday) my wife, John and I drove past a restaurant when returning from the barber’s. John said, “They’ve got flags.” The restaurant flies flags of the U.S., Britain, the European Union and Italy.

My wife said, “That’s right, John. They have lots of flags.”

“The flag is coming back,” John said.

My wife said, “I didn’t know the flag had gone away.”

“That man on TV said the flag is coming back.”

“Which man is that?”

John did not reply to that question, but said, “We’re getting a new president.”

“That’s right,” my wife said. “Who do you think will be our new president?”

John quickly responded, “That man with the orange hair.”

The man who said the flag is coming back.
