“Previously it was reports that in the night of January 20-21, the rival made another attempt of sabotage and reconnaissance infiltration at around 03:00 in the Karvachar direction of the line of contact of the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing armies. The front units detected the advancement of the rival’s special task forces, which were thrown back to the primary positions suffering losses. Serviceman Nahapet A. Asatryan (born in 1982) was killed and serviceman Hovhannes O. Gasparyan (born in 1973) was wounded due to the fights.”
