From Captain Capitalism: How to argue with a liberal
A Tactic That Works Against Liberals
Was at the bar.
Sat next to a young couple. The girl was an education major still in college, the boy was a recent graduate with a degree in economics.
He was excited when I told him I was an economist, but then depressed when I told him he would not get a job. The girl, somewhat offended I was being truthful and blunt asked what I did for a living. Overhearing that she was an education major, I said,
"I collect welfare and foodstamps for a living. I stopped working two years ago."
I said it with a sincere and direct enough face it convinced her.
She was upset.
"Wait, you don't even try to find work anymore?"
Half-tempted to point out in her declaring an elementary education major that neither was she, I decided not to and instead went with my original plan,
"Yes, not worth working any more. You see how much free shit Obama is giving away? To hell with work. It's for suckers."
She got pissed. ROYALLY pissed. She wouldn't talk to me. You could see it in her face. She was angry that somebody might take advantage of the situation.
And then I realized something - I finally figured out how to convince liberals they're wrong.
It wasn't through charts. It wasn't through logic. It wasn't through reason. And it wasn't through statistics or facts.
It would be by agreeing with them to the full logical conclusion of socialism and acting like you were completely abusing their charity naivety.
So the next time you run into a liberal and they ask you what you do for a living, with a straight face you say,
"Nothing, I collect welfare and food stamps. I live off of the government."
It is thus far and by far the most effective tactic I have ever deployed.

Tangled up in blue: Bob Dylan accused of racism by angry Croats in France
“PARIS — Legendary singer Bob Dylan is being asked to apologize for remarks he made in an interview that have ran afoul of French anti-racism laws.
“Dylan has been charged with inciting hatred by Paris prosecutors after comments made to Rolling Stone magazine last year sparked a complaint from the Council of Croats in France (CRICCF).
"’If you got a slave master or Klan in your blood, blacks can sense that. That stuff lingers to this day. Just like Jews can sense Nazi blood and the Serbs can sense Croatian blood,’ Dylan was quoted as saying in the context of an answer about race relations in the United States.”

Not Hallmark Christmas movies
A successful business woman tells her family she has a fiancé, but she doesn’t, so she hires a man to pose as her intended; or better yet, she comes upon a handsome, intelligent, educated man whose car has broken down and he agrees to pose as her fiancé because it is so close to Christmas and he doesn’t have a family anyway, but on the second day at the woman’s family’s big house the volunteer decides they are greedy, money-grubbers and he says, “To hell with this,” and he walks away.
Or:
A woman who was adopted at age 1 decides her Christmas present to herself will be to find her birth parents. She searches at a courthouse, where she meets a handsome, intelligent, etc., man who finds her mission amazing and since he is a professor of history, he says he will help, and she naturally says “Oh, yes, thank you,” but in research in another town, she discovers through newspaper stories that her birth parents were killed by police during a drug raid that netted the removal from the streets of 125 kilos of cocaine, and then her helper announces he is the son of a man her parents owed $1.5 million, and when she says she does not have that kind of money, he sells her to a buyer of blonde harem women and she is sent to Abudabi or somewhere like that.

An Arkansas company last week got $2 million from the Department of Energy “to further develop the company’s high-performance electronics over the next two years.”

The money goes to work on … ready? … “advances to systems used in the Toyota Prius.”

And, those systems are part of programs that will “provide greater freedom and energy security to Americans …”
Summation: My tax dollars, taken by the federal government, go to an Arkansas company to make a Japanese car company’s products more efficient.
