Ordering at Sonic last night

Young woman with pleasant voice on speaker: Welcome to Sonic. What would you like to order tonight?

My wife to order speaker: I would like a bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich, with no mayonnaise.

Pleasant voice: Do you want a cheeseburger with that?

My wife and me: Uhh...

My wife to speaker: I would like a BLT, no mayonnaise.

Pleasant voice: Okay. Would you like anything else?

There was more to the order, ice cream and Coke, but the pleasant voice did not recommend a cheeseburger with any of it.

The honesty of American socialists

At gunfreezone: “It really bugs me when chumps who fled the Soviet Union, Cuba, China, Venezuela or North Korea think they know more about Socialism than a 28 year old, 10th year undergrad in Gender Studies from Santa Fe with a verified Twitter account.”

(I have a diploma! Or, The science, the science!)

Clapton & Morrison: No lockdown

Liberals angry, say “Do what the government says,” find bad things Clapton said 44 years ago. Link at knuckledraggin.

If you can’t trust John Brennan…

Tweet from the former CIA director one president ago, regarding what Iran should do about the death of its nuclear boss: “Iranian leaders would be wise to wait for the return of responsible American leadership on the global stage …” Sounds like short-time national security advisor John Bolton who stated he initially supported Trump because he believed that the president once inaugurated would establish a traditional Republican administration, AKA, business as usual. “Return of responsible American leadership.” What we have in Presumptive President-Elect Biden is a tour by aged self-deluded rock star on an initial pre-retirement tour, backed up by the spirits of Bush-Clinton-Bush-Obama. Pallets of cash. Brennan Tweet at gunfreezone.
