VP Kamala Harris’ husband, Douglas Emhoff “took over the job of ruining Passover.”

A guest of honor was Sharon Brous, noted in Progressive circles for her anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian speeches and writings, yet she is not an anti-Semite, even though she “accuses Israel of a 52-year military occupation of millions of Palestinian people.”

Emhoff reminded people of “the importance of social distancing and wearing masks,” an oft-forgotten part of the first Passover. “Emhoff insisted Passover is about the search for justice.” He missed the parts about praising G-d “for liberating Jews from bondage through miracles.”

Surprisingly, Enhoff did not mention the open border Egypt shared with Canaan, said lack of a fence allowing Jews to peacefully pass from Egyptian slavery.

“In his opening address, Emhoff failed to mention G-d, but made Women’s History Month the focus of his talk. He complained that Judaism neglected the ‘midwives who saved Moses’ by refusing to implement Pharaoh’s sex-selective post-partum abortion decree. Had those midwives been in California, Kamala Harris and Xavier Becerra would have locked them up.”

In the Progressive’s Passover, “there’s only ever one message, which is that thousands of years of Jewish religion, history, and thought are reducible to the 19th century ideology of the Left.”

Custer was stronger than White Bull, but the Indian had far more experience in hand-to-hand lighting than the officer. Such it would be now as the Indians closed in on the few remaining troopers. Here is how White Bull described it:

Activists protest renaming Chicago school after ‘oppressor’ Barack Obama

Immigration activists are objecting to renaming a Chicago school after Barack Obama.

“I will not be part of renaming a school after someone who did not and does not represent the undocumented community,” said District 60 school board member Edgar Castellanos, who says he came to the U.S. as an undocumented child, according to ABC 7 Chicago.

Waukegan’s Board of Education met Tuesday evening to debate renaming Thomas Jefferson Middle School and Daniel Webster Middle School, after it was decided the historical figures either owned slaves or supported slavery.

One of the top contenders for Thomas Jefferson Middle School’s new name is that of the first Black president, Barack Obama, and former First Lady Michelle. But that name is drawing the ire of immigration activists and some in the Latino community. Activists staged a protest outside the board meeting Tuesday.

We don’t use the tactics of Red China’s Cultural Revolution. Not yet, anyway. Some common sense remains to keep political events from becoming more than standard protest violence. Public schools and colleges take the place of re-education camps. But it is refreshing to see one group of Progressives take on another group of Progressives and in the taking on show the degree of racial and cultural conflict.

 

 

 

G8R Division

In mid-March, one of our K-9’s was attempting to apprehend a dangerous felon who was hiding in a pond. The suspect grabbed the K-9’s head and shoved it under water in an attempt to drown the dog. Fortunately, the K-9 wasn’t harmed and the bad guy went to jail.

In light of this, it became clear that while K-9’s may not be suitable for in-water apprehensions. And since there are 554 lakes within Polk County, other options were considered.

The PCSO field tested various animals to be used when suspects enter the water in an attempt to escape.

Otters were among the fastest, but flinging one fifty feet was too simple for the bad guys.

Elephants were not only fast, but they were impossible to be thrown by a suspect. Unfortunately, they don’t fit in Ford Explorers.

Manatee were tested but they only fared well when the suspects were older than 95 years old and covered in lettuce, which is a scenario that only really occurs once or twice a month in Polk County.

We tried cats, but, seriously, they are way to smart to get near any kind of water. And, they only work when they pretty much feel like it, which is almost never. And who wants to look at a wet cat—not pretty.

Finally, we tested alligators. They proved to be very fast in the water and not easy for suspects to free themselves from.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce the creation of a unit like no other in the United States: The PCSO G8R Unit.

Ten deputies are currently being trained to work as handlers for our G8Rs, and funding has already been secured to provide each G8R with a fitted bullet proof vest.

Just like their K-9 counterparts, these G8Rs will also be available for demonstrations at area schools and nursing homes.
