US general reportedly removed Afghans from C-17 in order to bring back a ‘war trophy’

Maybe so, maybe no. These days, who knows?

“During the last hours of the evacuation, according to troops under his command and as documented by photographs and witness statements, (MG Chris) Donahue (82nd Airborne commander) ordered all of the passengers aboard a C-17 transport plane to disembark so he could have a souvenir loaded onto the plane. That souvenir, or ‘war trophy,’ was an inoperable Taliban-owned Toyota Hilux with a fully operational Russian ZU-23 anti-aircraft autocannon mounted in the bed. Once the Hilux was loaded passengers were allowed back on the plane, but, of course, there wasn’t room for all of them. According to troops on the scene, at least 50 people and perhaps as many as 100 people were left at Kabul to make room for the Hilux.”

Perhaps following the lead of Chairman of the JCS Gen. Milley, MG Donahue also reportedly conducted some above and beyond normal duty with the Taliban, as had Milley with Communist Chinese generals.

“Multiple sources within the military and the intelligence community have revealed to RedState that Donahue’s coordination with the Taliban that day included more than simply letting them know that we were checking out early. These sources say that Donahue provided the Taliban with a full manifest of passengers aboard the flights including passport information, photos, and biometric information for those passengers. The flights included US troops, Afghans who were employed by the Department of Defense, key human intelligence (HUMINT) assets, and other SIV applicants and their families.”

A Fort Bragg spokesman said, “No personnel were removed from any aircraft departing HKIA to make room for the Taliban Hilux. In fact, aircraft space was not an issue at all in terms of getting American citizens, Afghan SIVs, or at-risk Afghans out of HKIA in the final days of the evacuation mission.”

(Just now wondering: Who got the light switch at the end of the tunnel in Saigon? For years generals and politicians reportedly could “see the light at the end of the tunnel,” so somebody must have unscrewed and removed the switch. A war trophy that important shouldn’t have been left behind.)

The way you "protect" someone like this, with balls the size of church bells, is hand him a bayonet, and then get out of his way.

The conga line of Alan Dershowitz-level lawyers that will take his case pro bono will take what he said once, in a YouTube vid, and turn it up to 11, straight outta Spinal Tap, and make his original video indictment of The System like the Rodney King beating: on TV, 24/7/365, and the Corps won't be able to shut up fast enough to get both their collective feet out of their mouth. They're about to create their own Billy Mitchell, and they'll never get that genie back into the bottle. It's going to haunt them for a hundred years.

If they were smart, they'd simply drop all charges, separate him from service post-haste, and grant him a full pension, and hope he just goes off and plays golf. But they're not that smart.

Even after the baked in "guilty on all counts" verdict comes back, this will get appealed, and overturned, and the minute this guy picks a place to settle down, he'll be the next freshman congressman from BFEgypt, and even the DNC won't have enough voter fraud to block his election in a landslide.

Two terms, which he'll win without breaking a sweat, and he's got a congressional pension-for-life, and gold-plated everything until he dies.

And he's going to end up being the guy throwing molotov cocktails on the House Armed Service Committee every day he's there, and raking those same perfumed princes over the coals, and sticking a pitchfork in their guts and twisting it, for as long as he feels the urge. Probably only for another 20 years or so, on national TV.

It won't matter if nothing changes, because for him their agony is The Mission.

Unimaginable stress, pressure, and heat is what turns charcoal into diamonds.

The smartest thing the Corps could have done was ignored him. Everything not that they're doing to him is throwing jet fuel on a raging bonfire, and then trying to beat the flames out with their own dicks.

Freedom or comfort?

There is an old Saying that I don't hear much anymore, but that was very commonly used in my Family when I was growing up.

The Saying is "It is Mind over Matter". I have pondered that saying a lot over the years and have come to believe it means different things in different circumstances. 

One of the most common meanings as I was growing up was "If you don't mind, it doesn't matter." That meaning led to a general attitude of "I don't care" in our house. You could never show feelings as that was a sign of "Caring" and Caring was a sign of weakness. We developed an almost "Animalistic" attitude toward pain and emotions.

Here is an example of that attitude, a Raccoon my two brothers and I found caught in a Steel Trap in a Creek near our House in Avinger.

Someone had set a steel trap in a creek that ran along the road where we lived, A Raccoon had stepped into the Trap and caught its front leg between the foot and the "Knee" joint.

In an effort to free itself, it had gnawed its foot completely off leaving the bone exposed. Unfortunately, it had chewed the leg off below where the Trap was attached.

Us "Boys" rescued the Trapped Coon and took it home and "doctored" the wound with whatever medicine we had. The Coon recovered and eventually the leg healed. It ate well and regained its Strength.

We thought it should be happy with a nice Cage, plenty of food and a warm dry Bed, but it wasn't. All it lived for was to break out and be "Free" to live or die on its own.

It eventually tore out of the cage and ran off. We never saw it again, but saw the "Tracks" of the 3 footed Coon in the same creek where we found it.

This was Nature's example to me that "Freedom" is more important than "Comfort".

I see our Government today the way that Raccoon saw us. The Government thinks if they provide us with Food and Housing we should be happy and allow them to control every aspect of our lives.

Personally, I would rather starve to death or die trying to live free than to live in a Government "Cage" where they feed me, but allow me no freedoms of thought or action.

Drop that baby, Marine! It’s political!

A Marine who says he saved a baby in Kabul by lifting the infant over the walls outside Hamid Karzai International Airport is now under investigation for appearing on stage with former President Donald Trump at a recent political rally in Georgia. 

Now Clark’s command is looking into whether he violated the military’s ban on active-duty troops engaging in partisan political activity.

Gen. Milley said he has not involved himself or his office in partisan political activity, even though he spoke with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, guaranteeing the Democrat the US military would not engage in any activity endangering the election of Democratic President Joe Biden. The general is a lying sack of caca. He would not know the truth if it up and slapped him upside his head. Gen. Milley knows the rules, because he follows the ones that benefit him. Whether LCPL Clark understood regulations to the fullest extent, who knows?

The Marine Corps has gone after Lt. Col. Scheller, and now LCPL Clark. Are the perfumed princes of the Pentagon planning on placing themselves in charge of telling military persons what to think?
