Canadian journalist quits CBC, blames woke management

“People want to know why, for example, non-binary Filipinos concerned about a lack of LGBT terms in Tagalog is an editorial priority for the CBC, when local issues of broad concern go unreported,” she wrote. “Or why, exactly, taxpayers should be funding articles that scold Canadians for using words such as ‘brainstorm’ and ‘lame.’”

CBC management “have wholly embraced ‘a radical political agenda that originated on Ivy League campuses in the United States,’ forbidding any questioning of ‘woke’ orthodoxy.”

30% of weapons bought by Mexican army in US are 'lost'

When media types first began whipping US gun stores for selling to Mexican drug cartels, the claim was something like half the guns were American origin. Some real journalists investigated the claims and determined the guns checked had been seized by Mexican police and army and sent to US agencies for identification. Not so to Glock or Beretta or other European gun makers, and Mexican authorities ignored Eastern Europe block guns, such as AK-47.

Now, it turns out “the biggest supplier of guns to the drug cartels is none other than the Mexican Army which apparently has ‘lost’ 30 percent of its armory to the hands of the cartel.”

Billions and billions of dollars race south from the US into bank accounts and hidden closets of drug billionaires, with millions and millions donated to Mexican politicians, police and soldiers. You have to wonder: If Mexican politicians are easily bought for a few millions, how many of our own are on the payrolls? And, it’s not only drugs. Slaves of all ages and both sexes are bought and sold. Children are peddled to the highest bidder. Those who protest too much are found beheaded and buried in a desert, if the bodies are found at all.

N. Korea: What food shortages? Fearless Leader one back invented the burrito

This is not the first time that the late leader of North Korea has been credited with creating iconic dishes. Previously, local media claimed that Kim Jong-il invented the hamburger, which he named "double bread with meat".

Late North Korean leader Kim Jong-il invented the popular burrito, local media have reported. According to the state-run newspaper Rodong Sinmun, the head of state came up with the concept in 2011 and advised that the "wheat wraps" are best to be eaten while drinking mineral water or tea.

His son, incumbent leader of North Korea Kim Jong-un, takes a “meticulous interest” in the dish, whose popularity is now booming in North Korea, Rodong Sinmun writes. Videos released by local media show North Koreans gathering at outside the Kumsong Food Factory in the capital Pyongyang and then munching on the snack.

At one point, footage shows a mural depicting the late Kim Jong-il in a kitchen where the dish is made.

North Koreans who have fled the country have questioned the veracity of the video. Lee Hyun-seung told the Daily Mail that North Koreans don't even dream of eating burritos.

An interesting headline this morning had supposed facts, but it was a COVID story

COVID stories should remain unread. People angry at government, medical and media lies become more angry. There is no one to hang, no one to shoot, no one to bring to "justice" because of lies, deaths, anger and billions of tax dollars wasted. No one -- absolutely no one -- knows what is going on, or "the truth." Treat COVID stories like announcement of a Klan rally. Ignore and be free. Laugh and point fingers. The primary fault of governments of all kinds is the belief, "We must do something." Therefore, press relations experts who say, "Keep calm. The leader has a plan. We have a cow to trade for magic beans."
