Saw my first Car of the Future*

Saturday, at a WaWa, while driving to Vero Beach. 

I did not notice what make of car, only that the driver (he looked like a Democrat) had the plug-in plugged in and was trying to get the charging machine to accept some sort of orders from his SmartGuy Phone. He entered entries into the phone and waited. He entered more entries. And waited. He then held his phone to the machine’s screen, for all the world looking like Cary Grant in Father Goose.  You know, where Grant says, “It looked like a snake,” and holds the small, barbed branch up to the radio microphone. Eve believed the serpent, which at that time was the most attractive of God's creatures.

Or, sodomites who do not believe life begins at conception must believe a child in the womb somehow contacts LGBTism while gestating, or perhaps an unseen disciple of satan lays hands on the baby as it is born.

The program will not let me publish the headline I wanted. The head here was to be simple. "No"

This afternoon I began watching “Redemption,” a British police procedure show. In one scene the primary character and another woman inspector are leaving the station. The primary asks the other woman, “What did you do to piss off the boss?” – “What do you mean?” – “You are stuck with the newbie, I wondered what you did to get that punishment.” – Says the other detective, “I dated her son a few times and decided I like having sex with women more.” 

OK, said I. Now we have the TV necessary lesbian stuff out of the way.

In a subsequent scene, primary is shopping with her previously unknown grandchildren who are getting clothes for their mother’s funeral. The grandson says, “Can I invite Keith?” – Primary character says, “Is that Cara’s boyfriend?” – Replies grandson, “No, Keith is my boyfriend.”

That was that. End of watching that show.

When TV was breaking away from the old way of doing things, every show had at least one black character. Now, every show has a queer or lesbian or who knows what sex-ID character. Out here in TV-watching land, all of us are not homophobic. We don’t care what anybody’s sexual proclivities are. Except the one that will eventually become the new Negro, the new lesbian, the new queer, the new trans, the new Hispanic (limited to Mexican or Puerto Rican, because every TV watcher knows at least one, but not Colombian, Salvadorian, Brazilian, etc.) There will be a show in which an adult man has as a live-in boyfriend or girlfriend, a child under 16. Maybe even under 12. It will happen. And other characters will offer no protests, because children are capable of making up their own minds. We see it on TV news, so it must be true.

Learned a new word

It's a dog

My wife and I kept our daughter’s dog while she was deployed. I took the dog to a Dogs R Us for a veterinarian appointment. As I was paying for the work, the cashier said, “You’ve got your baby.” I said, “It is a dog.” She got all embarrassed and said, “My bad.” That was Strike Two. She said nothing else, thereby avoiding Strike Three.
