‘We’re trying to give away some money’

So says Texas Lottery Commission Executive Director Gary Grief.

$12 million in “some money.” So far, no one has turned in the winning ticket from the Jan. 1 drawing. The ticket was bought at a Shell station in Liberty. If no one shows up with the ticket by close of business today, the Texas Foundation School Fund will be a lot better off.
