Black bear in the Texas desert

The site does not have a date. Interesting that two black bear subspecies “are thought to occur in Texas: the Mexican Black Bear … and the New Mexico Black Bear …”

Texas should have its own Black Bear and not be dependent on bears from Mexico, Old or New. With dependency, it sounds as though other bears do jobs Texas bears won’t do.

Here’s an ad for 20,944 acres in SW Texas

The ad says 20,944 +/-. When you get to that many acres, does “more or less” really count? If you’re buying 10 acres, you want 10 actual acres.

Anyway, $500 an acre (+/-) isn’t a bad deal.
