When the protective order doesn’t work, use a gun

Black Lick, Pa. -- State police say a Pennsylvania man who broke into a house from which he had been barred by a protection order was shot and killed by a resident.

Police in Indiana County said 48-year-old Stacy Livingston had been evicted from and excluded from a home in Burrell Township but returned early Saturday and broke in through a basement window.

Police said the intruder’s wife and five other family members were inside, and an adult family member shot him in the chest. No charges have been filed and the investigation continues.

Don’t take an electric drill to a gun fight

This Ain’t Hell put it this way:

“About 7:45 a.m., a man was doing maintenance on a residence in the 1400 block of Marion, near North Nellis and East Washington, when the suspect attempted to attack the homeowner with a knife and an electric drill, according to Metro Lt. Grant Rogers.

“’The homeowner pulled out his firearm and shot the suspect once in the leg,’ Rogers stated in a text. ‘The suspect took off running and neighbor called 911. The suspect was transported to UMC with nonlife-threatening injuries.’”

Hey, let’s rob the armed security guard!

"A security guard at a Houston, Texas apartment complex was approached by several men in a parking lot. One of the men pulled out a gun and the security guard drilled him. The other men fled, leaving their buddy behind. The wounded fellow went to the hospital and he’s expected to survive."

Or, the helpless woman with the big purse!

"A man in Lexington, Kentucky attacked a woman in a parking garage and put a knife to her throat. He demanded her wallet and she reached into her purse. In the confusion, the poor woman grabbed her gun by mistake and perforated the fellow. He fled to his safe place where folks called an ambulance for him. She flagged down some patrolling cops and told her story. The thief is expected to survive his wound."

Robbing a barber shop?

“In Columbia, South Carolina, two masked and armed men intended to rob a barber shop. When they pulled out their gats, they were shocked to find two customers in the crowded shop also had their legal and licensed firearms and they unloaded on the pair. One escaped the maelstrom, but collapsed on the sidewalk outside. He was DOT (dead over there) at the hospital. His partner escaped completely. None of the victims in the shop were injured.”
