Family ‘had a better life in Syria’ than it has in Denmark

Yes, you decide to leave your country of birth and upbringing, you don’t know the language or customs of the country you are running to, things might be at least a little difficult.

“The men who leave on their own, without their children… they are making a sacrifice…”

“We had fake German passports…”

“We had a better life in Syria,” reflects Dima, an interior designer. “I liked being a house mum there – I can give my kids the time they need.”

You know what, I have no sympathy for a man who leaves his children in a place of known danger and unknown future. Notice the woman did not include wives in the people left behind.

Back into field, fire four rounds, pull forward and clear stoppage, fire four rounds, repeat.

The dude with his “Allah Akbar.” Every time I hear that, I want to put a bullet in the speaker’s head.

2014 Syrian civil war dead -- 39,000 ... Or maybe 76,000

“More than 39,000 people were killed since the beginning of 2014 during Syria’s ongoing civil war, a Syrian human rights body said Friday.

“According to the Syrian Network of Human Rights, at least 39,021 people were killed during the conflict in the strife-ridden country this year.

“Forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad’s government killed 32,507 of the total toll.”

“The Syrian civil war was responsible for the deaths of 76,021 people in 2014 alone, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. And nearly half of the dead were civilians.”

(If Arabs could blame Israel, the number would be around 500,000.)
