Here’s a guess: The kind of person who wants people to be the way she/he believes they should be, not the way they are. The kind of person who believes animals in the wild … uh, in nature, are kind and gentle, ya-da, ya-da, and etc.

When Kinky Friedman ran for governor of Texas, one of his campaign promises was to de-wussify Texas, one wuss at a time if that’s the way it had to be. We need to de-wussify the US of A. Big time.

Just wondering

The TV commercials with the huge Swiss horns in the huge Swiss Alps, does anybody else wonder why the people are singing “E-Co-Li?” A deadly virus seems like the last thing to advertise Switzerland.

Every month or so a credit card company sends us blank checks and says, “Hey, you who pay your bill on time and charged a bunch of stuff last year! We’ve enclosed four blank checks with a credit line of ump-teen thousand dollars! Just fill out one or more and send them in!” Do people actually do that? No APR on a check or two, but 17.46 APR on two – That’s a lot of interest, considering that if I needed ump-teen thousand dollars, there is a bank or two I can ask, and get an interest rate far, far below 17.46 percent.
