Surprise, surprise, surprise: ‘Victim’ was perpetrator

OK, here’s a clue to her honesty. The alleged victim said, “We received a couple of notes with derogatory notes on them that were directed toward our sexual orientation.”

She is a student at Central Connecticut State University. “We” wonder what kind of writing classes the AV (alleged victim) completed in high school and so far in college. The “We received …” I read as plural. But the “our sexual orientation” is just plain dumb.

Campus police say a tape showed the AV placing the notes under her own door. That is Stupid No. 1. Why slide the notes under your own door? Why not just produce the things? Oh, you think maybe the AV wanted to be honest about “receiving” the notes? Of course.

When telling a big lie, make sure you begin with a factual statement. “We received …”
