A couple of years ago a pissed-off DA in Travis County Texas ham-sandwiched a grand jury indictment against then-Gov. Rick Perry. Anybody with a bit of Texas sense knew: (1) the charges were spurious; and (2) the DA would not have gotten the indictment in any other county except ultra-liberal Travis.
Today, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals trash-bagged the remaining charges, following action of the Third Court of Appeals last year.

“A pro-Perry PAC covered his hefty legal bills,” Legal Insurrection said, but who will cover the tax dollars spent by the DA, who “was arrested for drunken driving and caught on video being abusive and disrespectful to the law enforcement officers”?
