Gov. Scott thinks Florida voters are as dumb as he is

Scott is a Republican. He wants to be a U.S. senator in place of Democrat Bill Nelson. So far, Scott has one “Elect me” ad, backing term limits on Congress.

In the ad, Scott says there are more than 41,000 Zip codes in the United States. He further states that people in all Zip codes but one are in favor of term limits. That “one Zip code” is, Scott says, “Washington, D.C.”

Hmm. That “one Zip Code” would come as a surprise, or even a shock, to the U.S. Postal System.

USPS lists 271 Zip Codes for Washington, D.C. Not “one Zip Code,” but 271.

Even Sen. Nelson probably knows D.C. has more than one Zip Code. Nelson always looks like he knows he is the smartest man in the room, and we untermenschen should just shut up and let him do whatever he wants, but he does know D.C. has more than “one Zip Code.”

We have two yayhoos running for the U.S. Senate. I don’t vote for yayhoos, so come November, I’ll not mark that part of the ballot.

Also on the Democratic Party side is a man running for governor who says he will ban the sale of “assault rifles” in Florida. My guess is he wouldn’t know an “assault rifle” from a BB gun.
