Swedish gunshot cases up 20 percent

“148 victims were treated for gunshot wounds in Sweden in 2018, marking a 20 percent increase compared to the previous year. The figure has more than doubled since 2012.

“The statistics come from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare patient register, Sveriges Radio reports. The board mentions that the figures do not include those died as a result of gunshots.”

“At the same time, explosions are becoming increasingly common in Sweden. Newly released police statistics have revealed that Sweden experienced a total of 83 explosive incidents between January to July of 2018, a number which rose to 120 this year, marking a 45 percent increase.”

Sweden has strict gun ownership laws. The increase in shootings did not occur because of legal gun ownership. Muslim immigrants? Nah.
