Oh, the horror! Serbia ‘likely user’ of surveillance software made in Israel

From Balkan Insight, which never misses an opportunity to kick Serbia.

“Serbia’s BIA intelligence agency has been listed among likely users of controversial software that enable it to locate every phone in the country in seconds …”

Citizen Lab conducted the data mining for the study. Citizen Lab is funded by the Ford Foundation, George Soros’s Open Society Institute, by other money-granting organizations and by Palantir Technologies, Virus Total and Oculus Info, a subsidiary of Facebook. Anyone who believes Citizen Lab is fair and always above board has not been paying attention.
