First Lady Jill Biden handed out cookies to about 30 National Guard soldiers as a way of appeasing the soldiers mistreated and politicized by the Democratic Party. With video of "We're sorry" speech.

of Connecticut said Guard soldiers might be needed in DC “for the foreseeable
future.” Other stories have said 5,000 soldiers will remain in the capital
until at least mid-March.
Here's a guess: Democratic leaders planned on having soldiers in the capital until mid-March to show what need be done in order to keep white supremacist Republican insurrectionists at bay. The monumental screw-ups, though, will lead to FBI and ATF findings of a danger lessened because of decisions and moves by the Biden Administration.
