This is about President Biden, not about who was before or who will come later

The major problem with Biden Administration ineptitude is the people running the show believe their own propaganda. Appoint the right people to jobs and the things you want done get done. Forget those other two branches of government; the people elected us.

The premise is right, as far as it goes. But, finding the right people does not work if your HR fails to choose on the fact of ability. Biden’s appointments are word people. They say the right things. They say things that include all Americans. Except they don’t.

The Biden people don’t know how to get things done; they know only how to say the right words, the words they truly believe will set the country on the right course.

Or maybe that is giving them too much credit. Maybe the Biden people can’t get anything done because they don’t know anything. They have never had to do anything except toss out the right words or write the correct succession of words on numerous term papers or repeat the right stream of words in class or before a council or committee. But when it comes to getting things done, they haven’t a clue.

As Stuart Schneiderman says, “A president is known not just by his doddering presence but by the people he has chosen to lead his administration. Now, with the Biden administration, we see diversity, equity and inclusion in action. We see a band of incompetents, a passel of imbeciles who are not even capable of pretending to be competent.”

A key phrase, “not even capable of pretending to be competent.”

And the president is far too near the competency of whomever decided to appoint the people appointed.
