dropped out of high school during the Vietnam War, your writer says, “…it was
1964 and the country was in the middle of the Vietnam War…”
No. US troop
strength in 1964 was a little more than 23,000, hardly “the middle” of the
later 500,000-plus. Your writers and editors should check things like that.
